This is a chinese candy apple. It is made with little crab apples and coated in a candy much like the one we use back in the states.
I trimmed some tea bowls today while taking a firing break. I tried to do some different types of slip loops on each one to see which one I like the best.

Good idea - I wonder if the apples are bitter. Did you taste?
