The master trimming a massive platter this made the biggest mess so I tried to capture the flying clay on camera.
The tools he used were as sharp as a razor.  Trimming bone dry really dulls the tools so he has to sharpen them often.
Here is a picture of the new rabbit.  one of his ears is broken because the gatekeeper picked him up by the ears.  It is nice t have the pet around I suppose.  Any name suggestions?
Here are some more teabowls/cups I made today to practice my trailing.  I am pleased with the use of two colors now.  The white is just the porcelain slip, but we have some flashing slip I cant wait to test that should be an exciting red or orange.

I am getting so pumped about this slipware.  All day I thought of the days when I was sitting around with the ole slip bulb at dougs place learning about it all.  I am getting addicted to slip carving and trailing.  I suppose it is contagious since some of my best pottery blokes are real into it.

Ouch! I am so sorry about that bunny's ear. I hope you don't plan to eat him too. I hope you are having a good day. Don't get cut with those sharp tools. Love you. Mom:)
